Charlene Sligting is a Visual Storyteller, and owner of Docha Real Estate Photography. She believes that great real estate photography is about telling the story of the home. As a visual storyteller, Charlene helps potential buyers fall in love with a home before they even walk into the property. In addition to offering still photography, Charlene captures aerial photographs with her FAA certified drone operator and creates videos for real estate agents. Charlene also works with commercial construction companies as wells as with the owners of vacation rentals to capture images for their online listings with companies like AirBNB and VRBO.

Charlene has earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Marketing, and a Master of Public Administration. She began her journey into photography in 2008 as a single mother taking action shots of her son at youth football. Her passion and skills have evolved since then through taking classes, going to conferences and workshops, and working on her own to develop her craft. Charlene is a Platypod Pro for Platypod Pro tripods, as well as a national presenter who speaks about real estate photography, and an Elgin Image Award Recipient for the work she did to create a photography club for photographers of levels.
