Lori’s works with her highly discerning clientele out of her Saint Louis-based Probst Portraits studio. From in-studio maternity photoshoots in her indoor heated pool to milk bath portraits in a tub – Lori relentlessly pushes her artistic boundaries producing unique, graceful, and ethereal artwork.
A recipient of several coveted professional photographer degrees, Lori generously shares her knowledge and expertise with other aspiring underwater photographers. With a hands-on approach, her class “Dive into Underwater Portraiture” covers the principles of underwater photography and post-processing techniques that turn images from dull to vibrant.
When Lori is not in her studio or underwater, she is with her husband Jim of 37 years, 3 children, 5 grandchildren, and 2 dogs. One of their passion projects is raising Monarch Butterflies from egg to release. To date they’ve released over four thousand of the iconic species into the world.
